    Staying Warm

We have been through a lot.  Heat has tormented us.  Cold has chilled us to the point of uncontrollable shivers.  Yet we learn.  We find ways to improvise and overcome whatever is thrown at us.  We have tested and proven and tested and disproved what we have been told or shown.  It took us getting out there, no matter what the prediction was, and testing it for ourselves.  That is the only way.  Each one of us are different.  We all set out thermostats on different temperatures.  We all have different comfort levels.  Some of us may be "fair weather" and that is ok, but we have decided that the weather may throw us a curveball, but we will not miss any valuable time, staying home, believing we will not enjoy ourselves.  We have disproved that theory.  We will overcome, stay warm, and make memories.

Those items exist.  That gear exists and when we get it in, it is the best day ever!

"Buy once, cry once…"  Yes, you may have some immediate regret knowing that you paid more than what you wanted to, but more than likely, the time will come, when you will be glad you have quality over cheap.  When that rainstorm comes, when you still have it 5 years down the road and it is still holding up, when that summer heat is belting down…yes you cried when you bought it, but that is the only time you will cry. For now you know you did the right thing.

The Day We Have Waited For...

We have prepared for this day.  We have searched the apps and news for the up and coming weekend.  We have picked out our spot.  We know where we are going.  Saturday cannot come fast enough.  We need this escape.  We need this time to breathe and exhale.  We have needed this for months and now it is here.  Let's go.  Let's get away.  Let's restart, rejuvenate, release and re-gain that lease on life, that love for the time that we have been given on this beautiful earth.  Do not fail to take advantage of this day, for this is the day we have waited for.
