The footbox keeps the comforter in place & supports thermoregulation throughout the night by allowing glabrous skin ( hands & feet) to easily stick out into fresh air and regulate your body temperature as needed for an optimal sleep experience outdoors. Unlike your traditional sleeping bag, your feet and hands can roam free of constriction!
