Squatch Rope

Squatch Rope was developed in 2020 by three backcountry camping buddies who were unimpressed with the fire starters on the market at the time. Their goal? Create a fire starter that was better for the environment, ignited with ease, and could withstand the unpredictable Maine backcountry weather. After months of materials testing and field trials, they wound up with a product that did all of the above, and a whole lot more. Waterproof - Yes, you can let the rope swim in a bowl of water, shave off some fibers, and light it right up! Compact & lightweight - Weighing in at a little over an ounce, these ropes can go just about anywhere. Wind-resistant - Squatch Rope’s flammable fibers catch a spark even in far-less-than-ideal conditions. Easy to use - Peel the wrapper, shave off a bit of rope fibers, rub them between your palms, and hit it with a spark. If you can light a match, you can use Squatch Rope.
