This variation of the CIVIVI Cogent Flipper is gnarly EDC intended to be used by those who need a reliable bade ready at a moment’s notice. Featuring a black-on-black color scheme and a partially serrated blade, this thing screams tactical. With a 3.47-inch 14C28N steel blade, this flipper is ideal for heavy use and easy maintenance. This steel is particularly known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease to sharpen. The Cogent also features a button lock and a tip-up pocket clip. The button lock itself is designed with a spring under the button to provide just the right amount of tension so that there is enough resistance to avoid accidental opening, while still offering the ideal amount of pressure to release the lock. This knife also features a super aggressive G-10 handle, giving the user a confident grip during wet conditions, dry conditions, and everything in between.
